What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser to remember settings, provide anonymous analytics, and (where enabled) deliver relevant advertising. This page explains what cookies GRID/JSON uses and how you can control them.
Categories of cookies we use
- Essential — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your theme preference or cookie-consent choice). These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics — used to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Requires your consent. We currently use Google Analytics, if enabled by the operator.
- Advertising — used to serve display ads that support the free operation of the site. Requires your consent. We currently use Google AdSense, if enabled.
What cookies are not used for
We do not use cookies to read the content you paste into any tool. Tool inputs never leave your browser, so there is no way for a cookie to expose them.
Managing your preferences
The first time you visit GRID/JSON, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the screen. You can accept all cookies or accept only essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser and reloading, or via your browser settings.
Third-party cookies
Cookies set by third-party services such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies for a complete picture.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current revision.
