Overview
GRID/JSON is a privacy-first product. Every tool operates entirely inside your browser. We do not upload, log, store or analyze the data you paste into any tool. This is not just a policy — it is our architecture.
Information we collect
We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the site: anonymized traffic analytics (page URL, referrer, coarse country, device class), and data you voluntarily submit through the contact form or newsletter (your name, email address and message).
How we use information
- To respond to messages you send through the contact form.
- To deliver the newsletter you opted into (you can unsubscribe with one click).
- To measure aggregate traffic so we can prioritize new features.
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to anyone — ever.
- We do not read the content you paste into any tool.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your usage.
- We do not require an account to use any tool.
Cookies and advertising
We use essential cookies for basic site functionality (theme preference, cookie-consent state). With your consent, we may also use cookies for analytics and non-personalized display advertising. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.
Third-party services
We may embed Google Analytics and Google AdSense when enabled by the site operator. These providers may set their own cookies and receive limited information such as your IP address and browser type. Their privacy policies govern that processing. We do not send any of your tool inputs to third parties.
Data retention
Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months to enable follow-up conversations. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics are retained for up to 26 months.
Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@devtoolkit.io and we will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Children
GRID/JSON is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and communicated to newsletter subscribers.
